Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Grief Counselor, and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. My practical experience spans roles as a community therapist and a hospice grief counselor, giving me comprehensive insight into the grief process. I also assist clients who are experiencing life changes and losses (e.g., loss of relationships, jobs, retirement, health challenges) and challenges with anxiety/perfectionism.

My approach to therapy

I believe that grief is a natural, healthy response to loss. My approach to grief therapy helps clients understand the emotional, physical, and cognitive aspects of their grief, equipping them with tools to navigate their unique journey. Further, therapy should be collaborative and it is important that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session, I encourage clients to share their "best hope" for therapy and what qualities they are looking for in a therapist. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure.
