Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with additional training in treating addictions. I have a M.A. in Clinical Counseling from Lakeland University. I have experience with adolescents, adults and seniors.

I am a good listener. I strive to understand and respect each person's worldview. I will give my opinion and suggestions when appropriate. I use a Client-centered, eclectic approach to therapy using CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

My approach to therapy

Among the conditions I work with are depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma and sexual orientation/identity. I am comfortable treating dual disorders: mental health and addictions.

What you can expect from me

I want you to feel heard. I will have questions and you will have yours. I can also challenge you at times to take healthy risks to make the changes that you want. I want you to feel like we are a team.

My approach is to respect people where they are at and hear what their goals are or in some cases. help them identify goals. The next step is determine together how to get there. Using a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely) approach is a proven solution.
