Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Dr. Gregory Dillon and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor in Texas, and I look foward to meeting you. I believe meaningful change begins when we challenge the perspectives that shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. My approach to counseling goes beyond simply "thinking outside the box." I encourage people to question the very frameworks, assumptions, and stigmas that may be limiting their growth, healing, and ability to live authentically.

With more than 16 years of experience in clinical counseling, higher education, public service, and leadership, I bring both professional expertise and genuine compassion to the therapeutic process. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate trauma, relationships, life transitions, emotional challenges, and questions of identity while creating a space grounded in reflection, accountability, acceptance, and meaningful change.

Whether through counseling, teaching, or advocacy, I remain committed to challenging outdated narratives, reducing stigma, and helping people build lives that reflect their values. My goal is to help you develop greater clarity, resilience, and the confidence to move toward a more authentic and purposeful life.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate environment where clients can openly explore challenges related to their needs, life transitions, emotional wellness, and personal growth. My work is grounded in curiosity, authenticity, reflection, and accountability, while recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my primary focus is getting to know you as a person, not simply identifying symptoms or problems. I believe meaningful therapy begins by understanding your story, your experiences, your relationships, your strengths, and the factors that have shaped how you move through life.
