Great to meet you!

Dr. Gregory Dillon is a clinical counselor, educator, and leader who believes meaningful change begins when we challenge the perspectives that shape how we see ourselves and others. His approach to counseling moves beyond simply “thinking outside the box” and instead encourages individuals to question the very frameworks, assumptions, and stigmas that may be limiting growth, healing, and authenticity.

With over 16 years of experience spanning clinical counseling, higher education, public service, and leadership, Dr. Dillon brings a deeply human and introspective lens to his work. He is passionate about helping individuals navigate trauma, identity, relationships, life transitions, and emotional wellness while fostering spaces rooted in reflection, accountability, compassion, and empowerment.

Through his clinical work, teaching, and advocacy, Dr. Dillon remains committed to challenging outdated narratives, confronting stigma, and helping people build fuller, more purposeful lives with clarity, resilience, and authenticity.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate environment where clients can openly explore challenges related to their needs, life transitions, emotional wellness, and personal growth. My work is grounded in curiosity, authenticity, reflection, and accountability, while recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my primary focus is getting to know you as a person, not simply identifying symptoms or problems. I believe meaningful therapy begins by understanding your story, your experiences, your relationships, your strengths, and the factors that have shaped how you move through life.
