I have always had a passion for helping others. Previous work as a teacher and coach have instilled in me a passion to help people grow and improve their lives in practical ways. I have training in university settings, the VA and private practice and I work to create a safe and productive environment for clients to meet in.
I have a warm and relational style that help create a safe atmosphere to explore what may be going on for people below the surface. I use a psychodynamic approach primarily as well as ACT and EFT.
In the first session I usually like to spend some time building a connection together and gathering information to see if we would be a good fit and what goals we should have for treatment.
