Great to meet you!

I bring more than 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through both school counseling and private therapy. My approach is warm, supportive, and solution-focused, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them build practical coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. My background in education, counseling, and family support allows me to meet clients where they are while helping them move toward meaningful and lasting

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building practical strategies for change.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore challenges, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful goals at their own pace. I work with each person as an individual, tailoring treatment to their unique needs while helping them build resilience, confidence, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of balance in their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and supportive environment where we will begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and the goals you hope to work toward. I take time to listen carefully, understand your experiences, and help identify practical ways we can move forward together.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what is important to you, and begin building a comfortable therapeutic connection. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the process ahead.
