Great to meet you!

I received my Psy.D, (Clinical Psychology) from Capella University, MA (Counseling) from Webster University, and my BS (Psychology) from Alcorn State University. I tailor my sessions toward the need of my clients to help with resolving their distress. My goal is to help you overcome issues that hinder your success. “You are not who they say you are, You are who you believe you are.” (Dr. Maxey)

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a partnership that requires a different approach to the issues. I like to help those who have problems related to depression, anxiety, grief, relationships, communication issues, self-esteem, and family problems. I help those who may feel misunderstood by their co-workers, family, and friends.

What you can expect from me

I like to instill hope in those who may be depressed, lonely, isolated, and at times lost. In my session, I want to help them understand that they are not alone and will support them throughout this process. I am sincere, and I confront them when they are showing dysfunctional thinking patterns and behaviors by explaining to them what I am seeing and how it affects their mental health. Finally, I like to show them alternative ways of thinking about issues and approaching things differently.
