A bit about my educational journey: Upon Graduating from High School in Oregon, I headed East. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College in Boston where I minored in Psychology. My Masters in Clinical Mental Health came years later from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
I believe I have a very down to earth process. I lean towards what is known as a Person-Centered or a Humanistic approach. In my therapeutic work, I have found this avenue quite effective.
I have learned that some of the greatest therapy sessions can sometime be infuriating...nauseating, heartbreaking and demanding. Keeping in mind the results can be; Transformative growth, acceptance, enlightenment, inspiration, motivation and forward movement.
