Great to meet you!

Great to meet you. If you have been carrying more than most people realize, therapy can be a place to finally feel seen, supported, and understood. You may be navigating PTSD that still impacts your daily life, anxiety that fills every quiet moment, mood shifts that feel difficult to predict, anger that rises before you can stop it, depression, panic, grief, relationship stress, family issues, ADHD, OCD, substance use concerns, or the emotional toll of a chronic health condition. I work with adults, children, and seniors who want more than someone simply listening from a distance. My goal is to walk beside you with honesty, skill, practical tools, and a therapeutic relationship built on transparency and trust. Whether you are working through trauma, identity concerns, cultural stressors, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ experiences, transgender issues, or major life stress, you deserve support that meets you where you are and helps you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is open minded, solution oriented, direct, and deeply collaborative. I specialize in complex presentations, including PTSD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger management, and chronic conditions, and I believe meaningful progress requires both a steady therapeutic relationship and practical skills you can use in real life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy, Behavior Management, and trauma informed approaches to tailor care to your needs. In sessions, we may work on understanding patterns, regulating emotions, managing anger, reducing anxiety, processing trauma, strengthening coping skills, improving relationships, and building tools for stress, depression, panic, ADHD, OCD, grief, substance use concerns, and chronic illness. Therapy with me is active, honest, supportive, and focused on helping you create change that feels realistic and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

You can expect our first session to center on listening to understand, not rushing to diagnose, direct, or make assumptions about your experience. I want to truly hear what you are carrying and help create a space where you feel respected, supported, and safe enough to be honest. Over time, therapy can help you feel more emotionally steady, better equipped to manage anxiety, anger, trauma responses, mood changes, stress, chronic illness, and relationship challenges, and more confident using practical coping tools outside of session. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling less alone, more grounded, and more connected to your own strength, clarity, and ability to move forward.
