Great to meet you!

I value being a warm, safe presence where people can come to feel known and accepted. My style is warm, gentle, and empathic. I believe (and research studies show!) that the most healing element of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. I love when the therapeutic relationship can be reparative for clients, especially those who have often felt invalidated or "too much."

My approach to therapy

I work with teens and adults on a variety of issues: life transitions, relationship struggles, meaning of life questions, and relationship with food and their bodies. I also have training and experience working with folks who are suffering from serious and/or chronic illness, as well as the healthcare professionals who serve them.

What you can expect from me

The primary therapeutic theories I work from are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy. I also align with a Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating lens. While I don't tend to lead with skills-based treatment, I do occasionally pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
