Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 28 years of experience — committed to meeting people where they actually are, not where they think they should be. My practice is grounded in empathy, practical tools, and a belief that understanding the "why" behind how we think and feel is the first real step toward change.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction, family struggles, life transitions, and more. I bring both clinical expertise and genuine care to every session — and for clients who want to integrate their faith into the healing process, that's something I welcome and honor.

My approach to therapy

My approach is personalized — because you're not a diagnosis or a checklist, you're a whole person with a history, a context, and a story worth understanding. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing, weaving in strength-based and coaching frameworks depending on what's most useful for where you are.

We work layer by layer — not rushing past the surface to get to "the solution," but taking the time to understand the patterns, experiences, and emotions that brought you here. That kind of depth is what creates lasting change rather than temporary relief.

What you can expect from me

Expect a real conversation — not a rigid intake form or a list of clinical questions. In our first session, we'll talk about what's been happening, what you're hoping for, and what hasn't worked before. I want to understand your goals from your perspective, so we're working toward something that actually matters to you.

You'll leave with a sense of direction and the feeling that someone genuinely heard you. That's what first sessions are for — establishing trust and building the foundation for the work ahead. We move at your pace, always.
