Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a holistic therapist dedicated to supporting individuals and couples seeking deeper connections, healthier relationships, and meaningful inner growth. My work is grounded in the belief that change occurs when we engage both the mind and the body, developing awareness, compassion, and resilience from the inside out.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Chapman University, graduating summa cum laude. My early education includes extensive training at the Desert Institute of Healing Arts followed by 20 years of clinical experience where I developed an integrative approach that blends evidence based practice with holistic, body-centered perspectives. My background in energy & bodywork informs how I understand stress, trauma, and relational patterns-as trauma shows up in the body, not only the mind.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples that have relationship challenges, anxiety & depression, chronic pain, trauma, and desire more connection, healing & growth in their lives.

My approach is somatic and mindfulness-based, helping clients cultivate greater awareness of their internal experience, build capacity for connection, and move away from entrenched patterns that no longer serve them.

My approach to therapy

My whole person approach to therapy is an interconnected blend-drawing upon evidence based (top down) modalities such as Humanistic, Interpersonal, Relational, Cognitive & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, along with (bottom up) Integrative work such as Mindfulness-Based (MBSR) & Somatic Therapy. I believe therapy works best when trust and connection is built together in a safe non-judgmental environment.

I strive to meet and support clients where ever they happen to be on their life journey-joining along to help gain clarity, insight, and strength. I help clients to develop practical coping skills, improve communication, and create lasting change at a pace that feels both comfortable and empowering.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, warm, and gentle environment. We will spend time getting to know one another, while discussing what brought you to therapy- exploring your goals for treatment. There is never pressure to share more than you’re ready to—this session is about building trust and finding comfort. We might take some grounding breaths or learn a new coping skill.

Together, we’ll begin to identify areas you’d like to work on and discuss what therapy might look and feel like moving forward. My goal for you will always be to leave your sessions feeling heard, supported, and confident that you’re taking important steps toward stability and change...
