I am licensed in Illinois with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, depression, & coping with life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

My approach to therapy is grounded in meeting clients where they are. I focus on teaching practical coping skills that support navigating everyday life challenges. Once you feel equipped with tools to manage difficult emotions, we can begin to explore past trauma and childhood experiences that may be influencing your emotions and behaviors today. I emphasize identifying and building upon your strengths to help you feel empowered. I believe we all have the strength to get through life’s toughest battles—sometimes we just need support in reconnecting with our inner resilience and grit.

In our first session, we will explore your emotional needs and begin discussing how we can work toward meeting them. You will be introduced to my therapeutic style, and we will focus on building rapport. This initial session is centered on understanding your goals for therapy and getting to know one another in a supportive and comfortable environment.
