Great to meet you!

I bring a wreath of experience and training to my psychotherapy practice. My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where my clients can explore their deepest thoughts and emotions. I take a holistic approach to care, drawing pon a range of techniques and treatments to support my clients on their journey towards healing.

My approach to therapy

The client is invited to articulate their specific concerns. Understanding the client’s previous experiences with therapy is essential. We explore previous therapeutic relationship, approaches used and what worked and didn’t work. This reflections helps identify barriers, preferences, and areas for improvement, ensuring that th current process is informed by past lessons and tailored to the client’s comfort level.

We assess client’s readiness and willingness to engage in therapy. This involves observing verbal and nonverbal cues, discussing potential ambivalences and gently exploring any hesitations. With an empathic approach foster a sense of safety, encouraging client to participate actively and honestly in their healing process.

After a psychodynamic understanding of client’s life and experiences, Introduce internal family systems work, use somatic experiences and EMDR to process events in the client’s live.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session serves as a pivotal starting point int he therapeutic journey. It is designed to established a safe, welcoming environment where the client feels heard respected and understood. Both therapist and client used the time to clarify objectives, set mutual expectations, and begin building a trusting relationship. The aim is not only to gather information but also to lay the groundwork for future collaboration.

The session, delves into the situations or events that have contributed to the client’s present state. After few thoughtful questions ton understand the context-such as recent stressors, interpersonal, challenges or significant changes, we explored client’s specific concerns, goals, and expectations for therapy. These might include relief from symptoms, improved copying strategies, personal growth, or resolving relationship issues. By clarifying what the client hopes to gain, I can tailor the therapeutic process to align with the client’s unique needs and aspirations.

We end up summarizing the key points discussed, reaffirming mutual goals, and outlining next steps.
