Great to meet you!

Sometimes we feel a nagging sense that there is something wrong with us, something not-so-easy to identify- can you relate? It turns out our pain and problems are alchemized when we uncover compassion for our ailing parts (rather than avoid or distract ourselves from them). I understand this because I continue to experience its truth; (it is a lifelong process and an honor!).

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, we collaborate to create a safe, supportive feel necessary for exploring our darker, more challenging aspects. This begins with getting to know each other a bit, very naturally. We'll cultivate a kind, gentle, interactive listening space-- an atmosphere in which to feel heard, understood, and accepted as you are. This allows the magic to begin to work.

What you can expect from me

The first session is as diverse as people! Basically, no pressure placed on how to start and no wrong way to get going. My approach fuses Eastern religion, meditation, creativity, humor, and heart, and we custom-design it as we proceed. I relate especially well with those with ADHD, depression/anxiety, and individuals who find themselves on a mindful, curious path, offering a trauma-sensitive, insight-yielding relationship.
