Great to meet you!

My name is Guylaine Dunac, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). My education and training have equipped me to treat my clients holistically using the latest evidence-based treatments.

My approach to therapy

I approach patient care with empathy and understanding and strive to educate the public and my peers about the stigma associated with mental illness and substance use disorders. My patient care strategy involves conducting thorough assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, offering therapy or medication management, and maintaining clear and open communication with my patients.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to make my patients feel supported and understood, ensuring they have someone who will listen and find solutions to their problems, regardless of how difficult or complex they may seem. They should feel heard as individuals and that their psychiatric needs are met in a compassionate manner. I aim to work collaboratively with my patients to develop a plan of treatment that they can easily follow, and I encourage their active involvement in the treatment plan.
