Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in clinical mental health counseling and international affairs. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University and completed clinical training in both private practice and correctional mental health settings.

My approach is integrative and tailored to the individual, drawing from psychodynamic and Jungian perspectives, narrative therapy, CBT, existential therapy, mindfulness, and philosophical inquiry. I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity and life transitions, grief, and questions of meaning and purpose.

My goal is to provide a thoughtful, collaborative space where clients can better understand the patterns shaping their lives while developing greater agency, flexibility, and a stronger sense of self.

My approach to therapy

My style is collaborative, direct, curious, and highly individualized. Rather than applying a single therapeutic model to every client, I work to understand each person within the context of their history, relationships, environment, values, and current circumstances.

My work integrates psychodynamic and Jungian approaches with narrative therapy, CBT, existential therapy, mindfulness, and philosophical inquiry. Depending on the client, our work may involve identifying recurring patterns, processing trauma and difficult relationships, challenging limiting beliefs, strengthening emotional regulation, or exploring larger questions of identity, meaning, and purpose.

I particularly enjoy working with clients who are seeking greater self-understanding and meaningful change, including those navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, and questions of identity or direction.

What you can expect from me

I aim to create an environment that is thoughtful, open, collaborative, and engaged. Therapy with me is a space for honest exploration, where clients are encouraged to bring complexity, uncertainty, humor, and difficult questions without feeling pressured into predetermined answers.

Goals are developed collaboratively and vary according to each client's needs. Our work may focus on developing greater self-awareness, recognizing and changing recurring patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, improving relationships and boundaries, processing difficult experiences, or navigating periods of transition. Ultimately, I hope clients leave therapy with a greater sense of agency, a clearer understanding of themselves, and an increased capacity to make choices that align with the life they want to create.
