Great to meet you!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I am Gwendolyn, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 20 years of experience in diverse settings. Having worked in academic, forensic, employee assistance programs and inpatient programs, I am skilled in working with adults, adolescents and children. I earned a bachelor's degree from Spelman College, a master’s degree from the University of West Georgia, a second master’s degree from the California School of Professional Psychology.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone's journey is unique and filled with happiness and triumphs alongside sadness and challenges. While life's experiences can be roadblocks, everyone has the capacity for growth. By establishing a trusting relationship and integrating cognitive behavior and person-centered approaches that fit each client's needs, I work with clients to achieve greater fulfillment in life. I am here to help you or your loved one explore paths to insight and change.

What you can expect from me

In a collaborative spirit, my expectation is that clients feel affirmed as we work together to establish goals that lead them to increased feelings of empowerment and more satisfaction in life.
