Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life and become the best version of themselves. Life isn't always fair or kind, and it can sometimes leave us feeling unworthy, defeated, or hopeless. My passion is helping people rebuild, heal, and grow so they can thrive mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from South University and have over nine years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My background includes working with women and children affected by domestic violence, serving in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, counseling juveniles with a history of substance use and nonviolent offenses, responding to crisis in the community as a mobile crisis clinician, and providing therapy and crisis counseling in an outpatient community mental health setting.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and holistic. I believe that each individual has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and strengthen emotional resilience. My goal is to empower clients to recognize their strengths, gain insight, and make meaningful changes that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

During the first session clients can expect a welcoming and comfortable space to share what brings them to therapy and what they hope to achieve. We'll discuss their goals, background, and current challenges while getting to know each other. My goal for the client is for them to feel heard, supported, and confident about the journey ahead.
