Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Hailey! I started my private practice about 5 years ago with the mission to create a safe, low-pressure therapeutic space that still offers challenge and self-reflection. I am particularly passionate about exploring the connection between trauma work and body awareness: because as we build body awareness, you may also become aware of events and emotions that have been buried for a long time. I can help you navigate these complicated feelings as they arise in a gentle way that prioritizes safety and autonomy. I love nurturing the connection between body, mind and soul. I've seen how strengthening this connection can transform the way you show up in relationships and the way you view the world. Building this connection has been a deeply personal journey for myself as well, and I'm honored to be a part of this process for my clients. The most gratifying part of my job is seeing how long-held patterns and beliefs can shift for my clients and allow them more space to breathe and honor themselves.

My approach to therapy

I work with trauma, anxiety and depression using IFS, somatic and attachment based approaches. I specialize in SE (Somatic Experiencing), which is an approach to trauma-informed therapy that helps you safely de-code how your nervous system is talking to you. It's great for beginners to therapy, as well as longtime therapy-goers who feel stuck in traditional talk therapy and want to access a new, deeper part of the work. The main goal of SE is to help you feel through the experiences, beliefs and feelings that are keeping you stuck, in order to find a safe pathway out and towards safety, regulation and groundedness.

What you can expect from me

Before we get to trauma work, my very first priority is to help you feel grounded and clarify your goals. I am a very collaborative therapist, so my work will only be done within the framework of the pacing and topics that you are comfortable with, and this can shift at any time. I believe that therapy is at its best when it is an open process, so authenticity is very important to me. I will never pressure you in a certain direction. I value your agency and hope to walk with you on your therapeutic journey while empowering you to make the best decisions for yourself. Along the way I can ensure your safety, and I promise to hold your pain alongside you without bias or judgment. Whether you are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, or you’ve just been feeling a bit stuck lately, I will meet you wherever you are and we can make meaning from your experiences together.
