Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Hailey Sawtelle, LPC, a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I specialize in working with individuals ages 18 and up who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and OCD. My approach is rooted in Person-Centered and Trauma-Informed care, integrating CBT, DBT, and ACT techniques to empower clients in their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, down-to-earth approach to counseling and often incorporate humor when it's appropriate and supportive. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, I’m skilled at helping individuals gain clarity about how their past has impacted them and at guiding them toward healing, resilience, and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

I consistently hear from clients that our work together helps them strengthen their ability to give themselves grace. In session, I aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental—where clients can explore their emotions honestly and at their own pace. My goal is to help people gain insight, develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-understanding and compassion.
