I am board certified psychiatrist. I completed medical school at Peking University, China, and trained in psychiatry at Brown University, RI. I have a special interest in psychotherapy and am continuing advanced training in psychodynamic therapy at Columbia University. I have been working in this field for 10 years.
I believe mental health care work best when when it is built on trust, compassion and genuine connections. I strive to provide a collaborative, respectful environment where clients feel heard, understood and empowered in their treatment.
Initial session starts by you sharing your story and your concern, I will follow up with questions to better understand past and current problems, we will discuss your goal of treatment, and I will go over my impression and treatment recommendation.
