Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and United States Navy veteran providing holistic, integrative psychiatric care for adolescents and adults throughout Colorado. My background includes nursing in hospitals, hospice, home health, and the Veterans Administration, and I have a special interest in working with veterans and individuals who have experienced trauma. I believe mental and physical health are deeply interconnected, so I take a whole-person approach that combines evidence-based psychiatric care with an understanding of how lifestyle, life experiences, and overall health influence well-being. My hope is that you'll feel heard, respected, and supported as we work together to find an approach that fits your unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective mental health care begins with listening. My approach is holistic, integrative, evidence-based, and individualized. I view mental health as an essential part of overall physical health and well-being, and I take time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, values, and concerns before developing a treatment plan together. Whether you're seeking medication management, diagnostic clarification, or ongoing psychiatric support, our work will be refined to your individual needs, recognizing the inseparable relationship between mental, emotional, and physical health.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your experiences, strengths, concerns, and what has brought you to seek care. We'll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, discuss your health history, and explore how your mental, emotional, and physical well-being are connected. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions, share what's important to you, and participate in developing a personalized treatment plan. My aim is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and with a clear understanding of the next steps in your care.
