Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in addiction, trauma, attachment wounds, and emotional healing. My work is deeply rooted in understanding how past experiences, family dynamics, and survival patterns shape the way we cope, relate to others, and view ourselves. I grew up in a family impacted by addiction, which gives me both personal insight and professional compassion for the complexity of recovery and healing. Clients often describe me as warm, authentic, direct, and easy to connect with. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection rather than judgment or shame.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and individualized to each client rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. I integrate evidence-based approaches including DBT, CBT, IFS, ART, motivational interviewing, somatic processing, and narrative therapy to help clients better understand themselves and create lasting change. I believe many struggles, including anxiety, addiction, relationship difficulties, and emotional dysregulation, are connected to deeper unresolved experiences and nervous system patterns. Therapy with me focuses not only on insight, but also on building practical coping skills, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healthier relationships. We move at a pace that feels manageable while creating space for both accountability and compassion.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space for us to begin getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they do not need to have everything figured out before showing up. We’ll explore your current challenges, personal history, relationship patterns, coping strategies, and goals for therapy while also discussing what has and has not felt helpful in the past. My goal is to help clients feel emotionally safe, understood, and less alone in what they are carrying. Together, we begin building a plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.
