Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Haley. I'm a mental health nerd, and I love to help others. I became a counselor in hopes of offering kindness to others when they need it most. I look to bring new perspectives to clients and applicable skills to make life feel easier. My hope is that my clients take away the ability to see the world in a new way, find healthy ways to cope with situations that cause stress, and learn to care for themselves in a kind way.

My approach to therapy

I like to use a cognitive behavior approach to therapy. Working with thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to get clients out of the cycle they feel trapped in. I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when it is appropriate. I also like to incorporate specific skill topics such as boundaries, communication, coping skills, and others. I am trained in Child Centered Play Therapy as well.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel supported in their choices, and learn actionable skills to help alleviate symptoms and stress. My goal is to help clients reach the goals they determine are right for themselves and give them all the tools they need to reach them.
