Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist(LCSW) who is passionate about helping individuals feel understood, supported, and more confident navigating life’s challenges. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Utah. I work primarily with teenagers and young adults, supporting them through anxiety, depression, life disruptions, and the often-confusing process of finding themselves.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are. My approach to therapy is collaborative and individualized—I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. I draw from evidence-based practices and am trauma trained, allowing me to thoughtfully support clients who have experienced difficult or overwhelming life events.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for support and clarity, my goal is to help you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where teens and young adults can talk openly, feel understood, and learn practical skills to manage stress, emotions, and life challenges.

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, positive psychology, and narrative therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and strengths. I am also trained in trauma-focused CBT and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and support trauma work at a pace that feels safe and empowering.

My goal is to help clients feel more confident, grounded, and capable of navigating life both now and in the future.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you’d like help with. There’s no right or wrong way to do therapy, and you don’t have to know exactly what to say or where to start—I’ll help guide the conversation.

There is no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to talk about. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and respected. We’ll go at your pace, and you’ll always have a say in what we talk about. Together, we’ll start to figure out goals that feel realistic and helpful for you.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a better idea of what therapy with me looks like and hopefully feel more comfortable and supported moving forward.
