Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Haley! I work primarily with adolescents and adults and specialize in trauma, mood disorders, relationship challenges/interpersonal conflict, grief, life transitions, stress, breaking unhealthy habits, and criminal justice system involvement. I also have a great deal of experience with neurodivergence, identity confusion, co-occurring substance use disorders, and personality disorders. Clients describe me as warm, caring, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I bring a calming and passionate presence to sessions, making space for humor, honesty, and deep conversations.

Many clients share things with me they’ve never told anyone before. I am non-judgmental, flexible, and understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and beliefs. To me, therapy should be a collaborative process, as you are the expert of your own life. I use strength-based, client-centered, and integrative approaches based on individual needs.

Therapy can be scary—I know firsthand—but naming feelings is the first step to taming them. I aim to create a space where you feel safe and validated. If you want to distract me in a session, talk about animals, music, art, football, or jokes! Click my website to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. Congratulations on starting your wellness journey.

My approach to therapy

I am a clinical therapist and animal-assisted therapist. I hold additional certifications in traumatic stress studies, addiction-informed mental health practices, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, and treating complex trauma, among others. I also do forensic-based work as a mitigation specialist for criminal defense.

Not everyone enjoys animals, and that is entirely understandable. That is why I offer standalone therapy as well. Therapy is your time and space and will be centered around what is best and preferred for you to enhance your therapeutic experience and outcomes. If you want to incorporate animal-assisted therapy, we can discuss this during our consultation to ensure it is a good fit.

I firmly believe that all individuals deserve the right to accessible, affordable, and quality health care that meets their individual needs. Whether you would like to receive stand-alone therapeutic services or integrated animal-assisted therapies, your wellness journey is just a consultation away. Together, we will create an individualized plan to help you achieve your goals and take back control of your life.

What you can expect from me

I offer therapy sessions both in person and online via HIPAA-compliant video sessions. I also require a free initial phone consultation to ensure we’re a good fit. One phrase you’ll hear me say often is, “If there is no safety, there is no healing.” Creating a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship is deeply important to me, which is why I value an initial conversation to see whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
