Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Haley, a licensed therapist who sees clients across the state of Colorado. I'm a therapist that strives to 'just get it.' I can never fully understand your story because it is yours and yours alone, however I will always work to put myself in your shoes and see you as the expert in your life and your story. I have almost 5 years of experience working with folks with a range of mental health and life experiences. I come from a background in community-based mental health therapy, specifically providing support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism and neurodivergence, significant trauma, complex diagnoses, and a multitude of backgrounds and identities. I am passionate about health equity, accessibility of mental health care, and the belief that everyone has the right to receiving affirming support.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with curiosity, humility, and a dedication to meeting individuals and couples exactly where they're at. I am flexible and collaborative in my approach, meaning that I always want clients' voice to be at the forefront of their therapy journey. I use an eclectic style in my work with clients, where I pull components from multiple approaches to ensure that each person or couple is receiving intentional, tailored care to their exact needs. Some examples of approaches I tend to pull from include, CBT, ACT, DBT, Somatic, Relational, EFT, and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be centered around creating comfort within the discomfort. Working with a new therapist or starting therapy in general can bring up a range of feelings, all of which are valid and welcome here. We'll go at your pace, with no expectations to jump into everything right off the bat. Let's get settled first, find our footing, and move through things as slowly or as structured as you'd like.
