With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Play Therapist, licensed in both Connecticut and Texas. My career has allowed me to work with individuals and groups across all ages (2 years and above), providing compassionate and effective support tailored to each person’s unique needs.
I am deeply committed to a trauma-informed approach to counseling, recognizing the importance of understanding and addressing the impact of trauma in healing. As an EMDRIA Certified Consultant and provider of EMDR, I help clients identify the source of their distress and facilitate processing of those adverse experiences. As a Registered Play Therapist, I help clients gain new perspective of their experiences through a different form of communication - play.
During our first session, we will get to know each other while discussing your history and therapy goals. I believe my job is to help you reach your goals, whatever those my be. Everyone's brain is different, so I work with you to identify what type of therapy will work best for you.
