Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for adolescents and adults. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, recognizing that each person's experiences, challenges, and goals are unique. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and actively participating in their treatment.

I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and other mood and mental health concerns. My treatment approach combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, psychoeducation, and lifestyle recommendations. I believe the best outcomes come from working together to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with each client's values and goals.

My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to empower clients with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to improve their overall well-being and quality of life. Whether you are seeking care for the first time or looking for a new provider, I am committed to meeting you with empathy, respect, and a focus on helping you achieve lasting mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with listening and understanding each client's unique experiences, challenges, and goals. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and actively participating in their care.

I take a holistic, evidence-based approach that considers not only symptoms but also lifestyle, physical health, relationships, stressors, and personal strengths. When appropriate, I incorporate medication management with education about treatment options, expected benefits, potential side effects, and shared decision-making. I also encourage healthy lifestyle habits and, when beneficial, coordinate care with therapists and other healthcare providers to support comprehensive treatment.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health concerns. My goal is to help clients gain symptom relief, build resilience, and develop practical strategies that support long-term emotional wellness and an improved quality of life. Every treatment plan is personalized because I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a therapeutic partnership. We'll talk about what's been going on, what prompted you to seek care, and what you hope to accomplish. I'll ask questions about your mental and physical health, past treatments, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being.

By the end of the visit, you'll have a better understanding of my approach, and we'll work together to create a personalized treatment plan. If medication is recommended, we'll discuss the risks, benefits, and alternatives so you can make informed decisions. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clear plan for moving forward.
