Great to meet you!

Individuals seek therapy at various points in their lives for many reasons. Some might be navigating emotions such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, fear, or grief; some might be facing stressors in the family, school, work, or social contexts. Others might wish to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Acknowledging these needs and taking the step to explore therapy is a significant and admirable decision. Whatever prompted you to reach out, I am grateful that you are here.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have worked in various settings including Harvard Medical School, the VA, general hospitals in NYC, and Columbia University counseling center. My clinical experience spans a broad range of adult populations with diverse psychosocial difficulties. My approach to therapy is primarily relational and insight-oriented. In addition, I integrate trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidenced-based behavioral therapy strategies into my practice.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to bring curiosity and authenticity to my work, creating a therapeutic environment that feels safe, trustworthy, collaborative, and empowering. Regardless of your emotional, social, and cultural background, I hope you can feel you are being heard, seen, and understood locally as who you are and where you are coming from.
