Great to meet you!

Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked across school systems, community mental health, and private practice, providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Currently, I work with older teens (16+), adults, and have a particular passion for supporting parents as they navigate the many emotional and identity shifts that come with parenthood. I especially enjoy helping clients understand how their past experiences shape the way they show up in their relationships, parenting, and everyday lives.

My approach to therapy

I want my clients to understand not only what they are feeling, but why they are feeling it and how they can begin to do things differently. My clients typically seem "fine" from the outside, but are struggling beneath the surface. Often they are carrying unprocessed trauma that impacts the way they care for themselves and relate to others.

What you can expect from me

First therapy sessions can be a little strange! There are a lot of personal questions, and I’m very aware that I’m essentially a stranger asking you to talk about your life. I do my best to make the process feel comfortable, relaxed, and as natural as possible.

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy now, what you hope to get out of our work together, and how you’ll know when therapy is actually working for you.

My goal is for you to feel safe, supported, empowered, and challenged in our work together, while also knowing that you can show up exactly as you are.
