Great to meet you!

Are you a college student feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or unsure of who you are anymore? Or maybe you’re a new or expecting mom navigating the emotional, relational, and identity shifts that can come with pregnancy and motherhood? You don’t have to carry it all alone.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I work primarily with college and graduate students, young professionals (including fellow therapists), mothers, and adults navigating difficult life transitions. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that may feel difficult to break on their own.

In addition to my trauma background, I have specialized training in grief counseling, eating disorders, and suicide prevention. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for clients who would like to incorporate Christianity into the therapeutic process. I have a particular passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the complex emotional experiences that can accompany early motherhood.

My approach to therapy

My clinical training includes CBT, DBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy. With a trauma background, I also utilize TF-CBT, as well Gestalt approaches like IFS to do parts work with clients. My overall approach is person-centered, attachment-based, and psychodynamically informed.

I believe meaningful therapy starts with a genuine, trusting relationship. My style is collaborative, relational, and personalized — because therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I bring curiosity, authenticity, warmth, and humor into our work together. Ultimately, I strive to create a safe space where you can show up as your real self to explore all thoughts and feelings.

What you can expect from me

In our initial sessions, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, stressors, and goals while creating a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and manageable — not overwhelming.

Over time, clients can expect a balance of emotional support, deeper insight, practical coping tools, and gentle challenge when appropriate. Meaningful growth often requires us to explore uncomfortable feelings and long-standing patterns, but you won’t have to do that work alone — we’ll navigate it together.
