Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and work with individuals, families, couples and children. I particularly enjoy working with people who are navigating difficult interpersonal relationships (with family members, partners, spouses, etc.) or are in the midst of healing from heartbreak, grief or loss. I also have extensive personal and professional experience with chronic pain/illness and have deep regard for the experiencers and caregivers dealing with the challenges that accompany. I care deeply amount my clients and would be honored to work with you!

My approach to therapy

I have a foundational belief in treating individuals with compassion and kindness. I offer a warm, transparent and at times humorous presence. I am a calm, yet active therapist and explore your feelings with curiosity and respect. I listen closely to your words and stories and help guide you with questions and insight to facilitate clarity and change.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me looks like me asking you questions to get to know you and your story. I will ask what is bringing you to therapy and listen intently to the ways you are feeling challenged in your life right now. The environment is friendly and warm, not sterile or prescribed. I will help guide you to share what matters to you and answer questions you may have about me. The most important thing in therapy is feeling like you fit well with your therapist. We will explore this together in a casual, yet thoughtful way.
