Great to meet you!

I'm Hanna, a licensed clinical social worker and therapist serving clients in California. I have experience supporting concerns of stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment, people pleasing, family and intergenerational conflicts, disordered eating, and trauma. I am especially passionate about validating and affirming the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

My approach to therapy

My style can be characterized as honest, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based. I work to create a non-judgemental space where a client can introspect freely and find empowerment. I utilize interventions from various psychotherapy modalities (such as ACT, CBT, DBT) and customize my treatment with each individual in recognizing the wholeness and complexity of each client.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be an intake assessment. Our regular sessions, however, will look different according to your needs. I strongly believe therapy should be a collaborative practice, and I always encourage the client to take the lead in shaping the therapy space into whatever they want it to be. I'm happy to be a warm listening ear, a resourceful educator, or an accountability buddy, among many other roles!
