Great to meet you!

I am so glad you are here! I have been a licensed therapist in the state of TN for 6 years. I have experience working with many different populations, but some of my specialties include: athletes and high achievers, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, substance use, eating disorders, body image concerns, relationship issues, codependency, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

In my current work, I take a trauma-informed approach that centers safety, autonomy, and deep respect for each person’s unique process. I draw from a variety of modalities, including Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, DBT, and mindfulness-based therapy. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to what feels most useful and supportive for you, blending tools and techniques to meet you exactly where you are.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I always like to keep it casual and conversational. Safety and autonomy are important to me in our work together so those will always be prioritized. In our first few sessions together I am gathering history and building a trusting/safe relationship with you to create a solid foundation for the deeper work ahead. I will never force a client to discuss things they are not willing to discuss, especially in an intake. You are in charge of your care and pace of sessions.
