I’m Hannah Beattie, LCSW, and I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating trauma, attachment wounds, people-pleasing patterns, and challenges with self-worth. I'm also passionate about supporting individuals exploring late diagnoses of ADHD or autism. My background is in social work, and I have extensive experience supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and individuals impacted by child abuse. I bring a trauma-informed, compassionate approach to helping clients better understand their experiences and move toward meaningful healing.
I take a relational and authentic approach to therapy. I’m real with my clients—supportive, but also direct when it’s helpful—because meaningful change often happens in honest conversations. I tailor therapy to each person, integrating approaches like cognitive strategies, trauma-informed parts work, somatic techniques, and DBT skills. My goal is to help you better understand yourself while also developing tools that make day-to-day life feel more manageable.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s been going on in your life. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, what you’re hoping for, and what support might look like for you. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest and feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals and what our work together might focus on.
