Great to meet you!

I made the move from Nashville, TN to Florida through a scholarship to play softball for Southeastern University, where I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling with a strong emphasis on a faith-based approach. My expertise centers on Christian counseling, particularly with a specialization in trauma, but I also have experience providing secular counseling for a variety of mental health issues, including trauma.

My passion for working with trauma survivors began when I started working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in a community agency setting. I’ve witnessed the profound healing that can happen when survivors have a safe space to share their stories. I’m also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which allows me to provide more comprehensive support for trauma survivors. I've done additional training on the intersection of EMDR and attachment theory as well.

My approach to therapy

My primary goal is to establish a secure, nurturing environment for every client. I aim to offer empathy, emotional support, and encouragement, while helping you build strength. Each client is unique, and treatment should be individualized. I take a holistic approach, considering the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of your life to ensure comprehensive care.
