Great to meet you!

Welcome! I have worked in community mental health spaces for over seven years, primarily meeting with individuals responding to trauma, abuse, life stress, anxiety, and depression. I have specific experience working with survivors of abuse and/or the LGBT community.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the ethics of Narrative Therapy. I take a non-pathologizing approach that views people as separate from problems and understands that people are responding to dominant narratives and oppression that impact their lives and relationships.

What you can expect from our first session

I hope to build an open, curious, and collaborative environment that allows you to develop agency and supports your wellbeing. Together, we can explore your values, what is important to you, and work to develop safe and supportive ways to respond to and cope with life’s challenges if that is helpful for you.
