Great to meet you!

I want my clients to know that I value creating a space that feels safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially for people who are used to carrying things on their own or putting others first. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable enough to show up honestly and be themselves without pressure or shame.

A large part of my experience involves working with trauma survivors and individuals navigating anxiety, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. I approach this work with compassion, patience, and understanding, and I believe healing happens through feeling supported, heard, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach, so I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. I integrate evidence-based techniques while focusing on helping clients better understand themselves, build healthy coping skills, improve boundaries and communication, and process difficult experiences in a way that feels manageable and supportive.

I believe therapy should balance emotional support with meaningful growth, while always moving at a pace that feels safe for the client.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel more like a conversation than an interrogation. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying goals for treatment. I also understand that opening up can take time, so there is never pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing.

During the first session, we will talk about current concerns, important background information, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Most importantly, my goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, supported, and more comfortable with the therapy process.
