Great to meet you!

With over 12 years of evidence based practice, from outpatient to residential treatment with teens, adults, and families, I consider myself non-traditional. Since I am a human with many tattoos, was raised in a family with a history of addiction, poverty and chaos, am an only child, a dog-mom, and have a neuro-divergent brain, I work to create a safe space for people of all backgrounds. Non judgment is key for our working relationship, and I know that I am not everyone's "cup of tea", but I do have exceptional flavor for the right clients.

My Master's in Counseling Psychology is from ASU, as I grew up in the Phoenix area, and completed all of my education from elementary to college in AZ public schools.

My approach to therapy

My specialties include family systems approaches, narrative and gestalt, but under everything motivational interviewing is intertwined.

What you can expect from me

It's my job to build your trust, and understand your needs, so in our first session, we will spend our time getting to know each other, your history and why you decided to come to therapy. I hope we laugh at least once, but I recognize the first appointment can bring up heavy topics and emotions.
