Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist who works with children, teens, adults, and families. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical, with the goal of helping people better understand how they think, learn, regulate emotions, and navigate daily life. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered.

In therapy, I commonly work with concerns related to anxiety, ADHD, executive functioning, depression, adjustment/life transitions, emotional regulation, identity development, and neurodivergence. I integrate evidence-based approaches including DBT, behavioral strategies, parent support, and skills-focused interventions, while tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique strengths and needs.

My background in neuropsychology also informs my therapy work, helping me understand the relationship between brain functioning, behavior, emotions, learning, and attention. I value curiosity, authenticity, and building meaningful therapeutic relationships that support growth and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. I work to create a supportive space where clients feel understood while also helping them build concrete skills and insight that translate into daily life. I believe therapy works best when it is individualized, goal-oriented, and grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mostly Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy behavioral strategies, executive functioning support, and parent coaching, while tailoring treatment to each client’s developmental level, personality, and needs. My background in neuropsychology also helps me understand how attention, learning, emotions, behavior, and brain functioning interact.

My style is warm, curious, and direct, with an emphasis on helping clients better understand themselves and build a life that feels meaningful and manageable.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be warm, collaborative, and focused on getting to know them as a whole person — not just a set of symptoms or concerns. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, strengths, background, relationships, and goals for treatment.

My goal during the first session is to help clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported while beginning to develop a plan together. Depending on the client’s age and needs, sessions may also include identifying practical strategies, discussing patterns in emotions or behavior, and exploring ways therapy can be most helpful moving forward.

For children and teens, parent involvement may also be incorporated as appropriate to support consistency and growth across settings.
