Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in treating anxiety, life changes, depression, relationship issues, OCD, chronic pain, and illness. My strength is building meaningful connections with clients and I am grateful to be a part of each of my clients’ journeys. My experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Eswatini, Africa and working in countries around the globe, has enhanced my understanding and sensitivity to individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to harness clients’ strengths in a collaborative and non-judgmental safe space. I help them identify unhelpful thought patterns so they can develop the tools to overcome challenges, heal, and grow. I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy and mindfulness. My goal is to support and facilitate solutions that enable each person to live their best life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will get to know one another and explore what you are hoping to achieve in therapy and what therapeutic techniques might work for you. We will begin to layout a roadmap for our time together and how to create positive change in your life. At the onset of therapy, we will concentrate on the thoughts and behaviors you find most challenging.
