Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management through convenient telehealth appointments. I specialize in helping adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related stress, burnout, and co-occurring substance use concerns.

My background includes treating patients across partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient psychiatry settings, where I gained extensive experience managing both straightforward and complex mental health conditions. I understand that seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, and my approach focuses on creating a clear, collaborative treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

Treatment with me combines evidence-based medication management with practical strategies that support long-term mental wellness. We will look beyond symptoms alone and explore factors that influence mental health—including sleep, stress, work demands, relationships, and daily functioning—so treatment feels realistic and sustainable.

Patients often come to me when they feel stuck, burned out, or unsure why previous treatments haven’t fully worked. My goal is to help you better understand your symptoms, feel confident in your treatment plan, and experience meaningful improvement over time.

I provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly, ask questions, and actively participate in your care. Together, we’ll work toward improved stability, focus, and overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, practical, and personalized. I take time to understand the full picture of your mental health—not only your symptoms, but also your life circumstances, stressors, sleep patterns, work demands, relationships, and daily functioning. This allows us to create a treatment plan that fits your real life, not just a diagnosis.

I provide evidence-based psychiatric medication management combined with supportive guidance and lifestyle-informed strategies. Medication decisions are made thoughtfully and collaboratively, with clear education about options, benefits, and expectations so you feel informed and confident in your treatment.

Appointments with me are structured yet conversational. Patients often appreciate having a provider who listens carefully while also offering clear clinical direction and actionable next steps. My goal is for you to leave each visit with greater clarity, a defined plan, and realistic goals for improvement.

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related stress, mood instability, burnout, and co-occurring substance use concerns. Whether you are starting treatment for the first time or reassessing what hasn’t worked in the past, I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where meaningful progress can happen.

Above all, I strive to provide consistent, respectful care where you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is a calm, structured, and welcoming conversation focused on understanding you as a whole person. We’ll take our time exploring what brings you in—your symptoms, concerns, goals, and any challenges you’ve been facing. I’ll also ask about your history, lifestyle, sleep, stress, work environment, and any medical or past treatment factors that may influence your mental health.

This session is collaborative and paced thoughtfully. You’re encouraged to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. My role is to listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and help you begin making sense of what you’re experiencing. We’ll discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options, and whether medication may be helpful, but there’s no pressure—we move at a pace that feels right for you.

By the end of the appointment, you can expect to have:

  • A clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms
  • An initial plan tailored to your needs and goals
  • Space to ask questions and feel heard without judgment
  • A sense of what ongoing care and follow-up will look like

My priority is to create a supportive, safe environment where you feel understood and empowered from the very beginning. The first visit is the foundation of our work together—an opportunity to build trust, clarity, and a shared path toward healing.
