Great to meet you!

With almost 10 years of experience and a Ph.D. in Human Services, my passion lies in helping teens, young adults, and adults (18+) overcome life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based techniques.

I like to bring humor into sessions, when appropriate, yet I also like having a structure where we know that we are understanding your goals and moving you closer to the fulfillment you crave.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, where your unique experiences, emotions, and goals take center stage. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, including your childhood, have shaped who you are today—and how to use that insight to create meaningful, positive change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a collaborative journey that describes the therapy process, billing, clarify any questions or doubts, and establishes a foundation of trust and rapport. Additionally, we will begin to explore your previous history in therapy and your current goals for treatment. I often work with clients who have never been in therapy, and I pride myself in easing the client's feelings of the unknown in a gentle manner by creating a safe space.
