Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Hannah Koenig.

In 2021, I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. Since then, I’ve become both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). I’ve been providing individual and group therapy for the past five years. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the honor of helping people navigate a wide range of challenges and move toward greater stability, healing, and hope.

I specialize in working with adults facing addiction, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to meet you where you are in your journey and to support you in making meaningful, realistic changes.

I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful therapy that helps individuals heal from the emotional impact of trauma and distressing life experiences.

My approach to therapy

My mission is to provide a compassionate and safe space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. Through empathy, practical tools, and collaborative guidance, I help people develop the emotional strength and clarity they need to face stress, uncertainty, and change with confidence. No one should have to go through hard times alone—and together, we’ll work toward healing, growth, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a non-judgmental and supportive space where you feel truly heard and safe. Together, we’ll explore your goals, work through obstacles, and discover the strengths and strategies that will help you move forward.
