Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Hannah and I'm a Licensed Clinician Social Worker who provides virtual therapy to Virginia residents. I'm glad you're here! I work with clients to better manage anxiety/stress, trauma, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

As a trauma-informed therapist, my goal is to help you become kinder to yourself and to create a life that feels more grounded, easeful, and aligned with what matters to you most. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment.

A core part of my approach is helping clients understand that many of the behaviors or coping strategies that feel “unhelpful” today were once essential for survival. This shift in perspective can create a powerful foundation for self-compassion and, ultimately, change.

Many of the approaches I use are experiential, meaning they incorporate the mind and body to help create lasting shifts in how you think, feel, and show up in your life. In our sessions, we’ll identify those patterns that are no longer helpful and work together to build new, healthier ones that reflect your current needs and goals. I'm an empathetic, engaged listener and an active collaborator in sessions.

What you can expect from me

In our time together, you can expect a mix of insight building, practical tools, psychoeducation, nudges toward self-compassion, and a sprinkling of humor. Together, we'll figure out what you need to reach your goals.
