Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m a licensed social worker with over 4 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families. My background is primarily in school and community settings, where I’ve supported people navigating mental health concerns, life transitions, relationships, family stress, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and challenges that can make it difficult to feel like yourself.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted for who you are. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and person-centered. I don’t believe in telling people who they should be or what their life should look like. Instead, I’ll work alongside you to better understand what you’re experiencing, identify your strengths, and explore tools and strategies that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a relationship that feels comfortable and supportive. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what has been going on in your life recently. I’ll also ask questions about your background and experiences so I can better understand the bigger picture. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet, and you don’t need to know exactly what you want to talk about. We can take things at your pace and start wherever feels most comfortable for you.My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and a little more comfortable taking the next step in your therapeutic journey.
