Great to meet you!

I'm glad you have made the first step to improving how you feel and function. You are in the right place! I currently provide medication management and therapy via telehealth as well as in person. I am unable to prescribe controlled medications such as xanax or adderall. However, there are multiple other options available. My specialties include Depression, Mood Disorders, PTSD, Anxiety, ADHD, and Sleep Disorders.

I have been a Psychiatric NP since 2018 with past experiences in treating all ages and psychiatric issues, mostly through the office setting. I have also had experience in treating the geriatric population that required hospital stabilization due to secondary psychiatric issues related to dementia. I am a double eagle graduate and obtained both nursing degrees at Georgia Southern University. Before becoming an NP, I gained invaluable experience in critical care, cardiac care, and case management as an RN.

My approach to therapy

I provide medication management and supportive therapy utilizing a patient-centered approach to care. We will make decisions together so that your concerns are met and you feel comfortable with the treatment plan. I not only focus on medications in our appointment but also provide a nonjudgemental and supportive environment to discuss factors impacting your daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will discuss your current struggles and what outside factors may be influencing your symptoms. We will explore your history of treatment and develop a plan together to improve the concerning issues. There is no pressure or expectation for you to share things that make you feel uncomfortable or are not ready to open up about.
