Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Hannah Nestor, LPC, NCC, an EMDR-trained therapist at Wave Theory. I will begin taking new clients on June 29th, 2026. I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and life transitions. With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I take a compassionate, person-centered approach to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. Using EMDR therapy, DBT skills, and expressive techniques, I help clients process painful experiences, navigate life’s waves, and move toward lasting healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that emotions and experiences come in waves—and you don’t have to face them alone. Using a compassionate, person-centered approach, I integrate EMDR therapy, DBT skills, and expressive techniques to help you process trauma and PTSD, regulate overwhelming emotions, and find steadiness within yourself. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can move through life’s waves with greater confidence and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to connect and begin building a sense of safety and trust. We’ll go over consent and important information, explore your history, and talk about what’s been weighing on you. Together, we’ll start identifying your goals and create a plan for moving forward. My goal is to provide a calm, supportive space where you can feel safe showing up exactly as you are.
