Great to meet you!
Hello! I'm Hannah Owens, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to creating a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, tailoring treatment to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Robert Morris University and have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, ADHD, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation. I also have specialized experience supporting children and teens experiencing self-harm, suicidal thoughts, school-related stress, bullying, and behavioral concerns.
My therapeutic approach is warm, practical, and evidence-based. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions while incorporating trauma-informed care throughout treatment. For couples, I am trained in the Gottman Method and integrate attachment-based principles to help partners improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection.
I believe that therapy is not about "fixing" people—it's about helping individuals better understand themselves, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your relationship, my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe to be authentic while working together toward the life and relationships you want.
Taking the first step toward counseling can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. I look forward to supporting you throughout your journey.
